SMS from Android 4.4 has free Caller ID. Caller ID will show call information during/after calls – even for contacts that are not in your phone book. Enable, disable or configure Caller ID at any time in the settings menu.

Please test the app to make sure it can send and receive messages correctly before relying on it!

This is the stock messaging (SMS & MMS, though MMS is not currently working) app from Android 4.4!

KNOWN BUGS

* Contact photos may not sync properly.* Widget "Show more conversations" button does nothing currently.* SMS notifications might be unreliable.* MMS doesn't work at all right now.
